Contracts Manager (£35m T/O building contractor)
Circa £65,000 - £70,000 + car allowance + package

This very successful building contractor, with an annual turnover of circa £35m, covers a range of sectors including Education, Heritage, Community Buildings and Private Schools.
They deliver new build and refurb projects from 500k to £10m and undertake various forms of contracts in London and the South East area.
They have recently secured several contract wins at £8m and £10m respectively.
In consideration of succession plans the company is looking for a unique individual who could be progress through the contracts manager route to eventually become construction director.
The type of person who would be considered could come from either a site manager / project manager background or equally the quantity surveying route.
3-5 years' experience at contracts management level
ideally chartered status or degree qualified
Good technical knowledge (their CM's are design coordinators as well)
Experience of working for a medium size Main Contractor
Running up to 3 projects simultaneously £500k- £10m
Ability to maximise commercial opportunity and present risk / opportunity analysis
Thorough knowledge of the JCT suite of contracts Inc JCT D&B
Experience of assisting pre-construction where necessary
Good Knowledge of ASTA Reporting directly to the Director and will have a team of Project Managers, Site Managers and commercial staff reporting to them.
The ideal candidate could be based in Herts, Essex, North Kent, East London; the company head office is near Dagenham, and work can range from Harrow, Blackheath to Grays in Essex.
