Contracts Manager | Medium sized building contractor | Brentford
Salary: Circa £60,000 - £65,000
This successful main contractor, operating throughout London and the South East of England for over 40 years, focuses on the delivery of small to medium sized contracts in education, residential, commercial, retail and healthcare sectors. Involved in both the new build and refurb markets, this medium sized building contractor is particularly experienced in working within 'live' environments and is proud of their network of 'repeat' business.
The company is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join the team.
If you are a motivated contracts manager, with a broad experience in construction seeking an interesting job on a various projects involving the upgrading, renewal, refurbishment and new-build markets, then this is potentially the right opportunity for you.
3-5 years' experience at contracts management level
Experience on similar projects and values, for a medium size Main Contractor
Stable track record
Good technical knowledge
Ability to maximise commercial opportunity
Ensure the highest level of Safety & Quality standards are achieved
Assist site management to monitor and maintain programme
Check site administration procedures
Monitor subcontractor & supplier performance
Attend/chair meetings with Clients, Subcontractors & Staff
Prepare performance reports
Monitor cost & profit forecasts
Carryout value engineering appraisals
