Assistant Site Manager | Main contractor - New build residential
Salary: £35.000 - £45,000 per year
This successful £20m turnover main contractor, operating throughout London and the South East of England for over 40 years, focuses on the delivery of small to medium sized contracts in education, residential, commercial, retail and healthcare sectors. Involved in both the new build and refurb markets, this medium sized building contractor is particularly experienced in working within 'live' environments and is proud of their network of 'repeat' business.
They are currently recruiting for an Assistant site manager for a scheme that comprises of the new build construction of two apartment blocks with associated single storey ancillary buildings.
70-week programme, commencing late August / early September. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a project from start to finish, reporting to a site manager.
The ideal candidate will suit someone with some experience as an Assistant Site Manager on similarly sized projects, together with a degree in either Construction Management or Engineering.
Ultimately, the ideal person must be motivated, a team player who is willing to put in the effort, with a view to career progression.
Candidates applying must be based within easy commute from site.
