Pre-Construction / Business Development Manager (Opportunity to get to Director Level as the company grows)
NW London / London | Permanent | Start October 2019
Salary: £50,000 - £80,000 + Good Performance Related Bonus Scheme (DOE: Someone who has been a no. 2 and looking for next step up - circa £50k; if a very experienced person, negotiable, up to £70k / £80k)
Our client is a successful regional building contractor working on new build, refurb and structural alterations projects throughout Central London & within the M25.
The company has an immediate requirement for a Pre-Construction / Business Development Manager with a minimum of 20 years' experience in the London construction market. This role also offers a genuine opportunity to progress to Director Level as the company grows.
Most clients / consultants are not aware that the company can do jobs from £5m to £15m in value - they are looking for someone who can help them get involved at the higher end of these job values (currently on site for a £13m D&B 35 unit scheme - and have a new £9m, 35 unit scheme starting soon).
This is a permanent role and will suit candidates with a stable track record with previous employers.
Pre-Construction (not estimating) - but bid management
Raising the company profile in the market-place, and getting the name out there
Responsible for bringing in new tender opportunities - existing and new clients
Responsible for client care / customer satisfaction and reviews
Oversee marketing and update literature
Attend marketing and networking events
Arrange NVC events
