An award-winning interiors contractor, has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to take on a £9m cut & carve commercial refurbishment project in the City of London.
The company is looking for someone with a proven track record as a No1 project manager on cut & carve, heavy refurbishment, structural alterations and façade retention projects in London.
·£9m cut & carve refurb of commercial space and façade retention in the City of London.
·Logistically challenging, tight site, adjacent to occupied buildings.
·Full elevation scaffold to all three sides of the building
·Installation of façade retention steelwork. Temporary works for façade and temporary piles for the internal walls
·Replacement of over 90% of the floors whilst retaining the facade
·Demolition of the existing building from roof level
·Underpinning to the whole of the building perimeter
·Formation of strip and pad foundations including lift pit and RC slab and walls.
·New brickwork walls, to support further steelwork
·New curtain walling system.
·Installation of steelwork and SFS shaft
·Full internal fit-out, incl MEP, of space and plant room
Skills / Experience required:
·Reporting directly to the Construction Director, the Project Manager will be involved pre-construction and have complete autonomy for all on site activities.
·A minimum of 10 years' Project Management experience
·High level of practical knowledge of relevant employment, Health and Safety and general legislative requirements
·Excellent Leader with strong communication skills
·Responsible for overall management of programing
·Adheres to the highest standards of health and safety.
·Planning and organisational skills
·Proven longevity with previous employers
·Proven track record of managing projects from start to completion
