This top 20 Tier One Building Contractor is currently enjoying their most successful period of contract wins ever. With a current annual turnover of circa £60m, their record breaking pipeline for the next two years will see them generate a £90m turnover by 2022.
They are subsequently recruiting for a senior site manager to join their expanding project team in Herts.
Delivery of construction projects ranging from £4 - £40m with the average value being £6m. With that being said, they have recently secured a number of education projects ranging from £25/£30m as well as a £40m mixed use scheme.
The senior site manager role would suit:
·Someone who has run their own jobs (circa £5-£8m), and has experience on projects circa £25m/£40m as a senior site manager.
·Typical site team would be a Project Manager, 2no Senior Site Managers (running the job), and a site management team underneath. Experience as the senior site manager is needed for this role.
·Someone with new build experience
·Ideally Tier One Contractor experience, but would consider Tier Two for the right candidate
·Location based in or around Bedfordshire, north Herts, Bucks, Aylesbury etc. and who wants local work rather than Central London.
·As an experienced senior site manager you will have worked on commercial, education or healthcare sites, ensuring a safe working environment.
