Managing Quantity Surveyor - Tier One Contractor

£85k - £90k plus travel allowance, pension & healthcare
One of our clients, a leading main contractor who specialise in Housing, Education, Industrial and Health with the projects valuing from £1m to £20m, are recruiting for a Managing Surveyor to work closely with the Divisional Manager.
You will be joining a strong division which is pushing a £30m turnover, with a healthy pipeline of work starting in 2021. You must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, with a proven commercial track record and experience of managing a team of surveyors.
Key Duties & Skills for the opportunity:
Solid JCT suite of contracts experience
Strong Cash management experience along with High level of knowledge of Construction act payment timetable / payment certs
Ability to review in detail contracts, orders and payments in a timely manner
Detailed D&B experience including 2 stage tenders
Experience of detailed CVR reporting and taking an active and questioning role in project reviews
Ability to set tasks and ensure compliance within team
Experience of pre-construction cost management and pricing
Ability to report effectively Internally & Externally
Ability to galvanise and bring together teams whether commercial or operational and ensure the Team ethos is promoted at all times
Highly safety conscious to ensure safety is enshrined in all commercial processes.
