A great opportunity has arisen for a Project Director to shape and transform parts of London's future landscape by joining an award-winning contractor.
As the Project Director, you will have complete autonomy to successfully lead and deliver complex construction projects on time within budget and ensuring Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental compliance at all times.
You will have complete autonomy on multi storey r/c developments ranging in value from £30m - £50m. Typically, the size of the projects will be between 100 and 200 units, and up to 20 storeys high. You will manage project teams inclusive of all internal stakeholders and consultants including architects, structural engineers, and sub-contractors, to ensure progress is maintained against the contract programme.
A summary of the experience required will be:
• A proven track record of successfully completing large London based residential projects valued between £30m - £50m from pre-construction to completion.
• Previous successful delivery of multi storey r/c frame developments up to 20 storeys high.
• Ability to produce well written and accurate reports to be presented to the Directors at monthly Project review/CVR meetings
• Broad knowledge of construction techniques with high technical expertise across many types of construction and forms of contract
• Excellent organisational and project management skills.
• Ability to develop and monitor robust programmes on complex multi-disciplinary projects
• Strong communication skills and be able to communicate with all levels of personnel.
• An industry recognised qualification such as a Degree or MCIOB
