Rate - Circa £250 p/day
This £150m turnover building contractor carries out new build, & large refurbishments across a range of sectors up to a project value of circa £15m.
They have an immediate need for an experienced No1 Senior Site Manager to carry out a £2.8m project over 36 weeks. On this brownfield site the works comprise the construction and fit-out of 1 large industrial unit (steel frame). Enabling works, groundworks, steel frame construction and car-park / external works, drainage and services experience required.
Senior Site Manager / Project Manager will take the job from start to finish and will be expected to be a "proper" stand-alone No1 on site; looking after the following:
•Managing day to day activities on site of the site team and sub-contractors
•Sub-contract and material procurement
•Construction plan
•Health & Safety
•Progress reports and site meetings
•Programming - long and short term
•Quality control
•Liaison with the design team, M&E consultants, project architect, structural engineer and building control
The ideal site project manager must / have:
•CSCS (Black or Gold), SMSTS and First Aid at Work
•Have a proven track record of new build and delivery of steel frame projects from start to finish.
