Romanian speaking No1 Senior Site Managers (with good all-round building knowledge) ideally with some mission critical / database work experience (not essential) - would be pleased to hear from you
The company is 13-year-old +, medium sized general contractor that operate within London, the home counties and internationally.
Mission Critical Work:
·A large part of their work is on Data Centres.
·Prison work experience would be fairly similar and relevant experience welcome (difficult to get in, security, heavily monitored, permits, passes issued for everything), or healthcare (ridiculously clean -no dust etc.).
Builder's Works Packages / General type of work they carry out:
·Insitu Concrete, Brickwork / Blockwork, Screeding, Tanking / Bunding, Structural Steelwork, Demolition, Strip Out, Fire Stopping, Diamond Drilling, Concrete Bursting, Groundworks, Drainage etc.
·In short, they create the rooms for others to do the main install. Don't touch anything above a ceiling and they don't deal with M&E
Job Description:
·Romanian speaking No1 Senior Site Managers (with good all-round building knowledge) ideally with some mission critical / database work experience
·This will suit a Site Manger with at least 5 years' experience in a similar role (as a No1 on site), on projects ranging in value from £300,000 to £7.5m (max).
·Builder's Works Packages up to circa £3m - £5m
·Absolutely must be client facing and comfortable in front of a client in meetings
·Report directly in to a Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
·Supervising and overseeing sub-contractors
·Ensuring that the specifications and requirements are met
·Management of sub-contractors
·Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
·Checking and preparing site reports
·Maintaining quality control procedures
·Finding ways to prevent problems and to solve any that crop up
Other Projects:
·Would suit (but not restricted to) that is prepared work overseas (as also have work in Berlin, Hamburg, and currently in Frankfurt - also have a job coming up in Paris
