**Contracts Manager, Design Manager (or any job title that can effectively carry out the required job duties) for a l0-month freelance assignment**
This highly respected building contractor is looking for a Design Manager / Contracts Manager
to join the team on a large mixed use project in West London.
The Project:
·£50m new build construction of combined education and residential development.
·Basement plus 3-floors of education facilities for over 1000 pupils, with 100 + residential apartments above.
Job description:
·Assist the design manager in closing out any outstanding design issues, including the Client tracker. (DORS)
·Manage and close out the Planning tracker
·Manage and close out NHBC tracker, including uploading to the portal
·Manage and close out the Building control tracker
·Manage and close out BREAAM
·Manage MEP with all the required testing and commissioning and O & M manuals, Asset register
·Production of the Building manual and H & S file
·Uploading information for the project on the Developer's Portal
·Manage, and collate documentation necessary for the handover as noted on the Consultancy Hand over and Action tracker
·Collation and issue of ESW1 documentation and any Fire documentation
·Provide two weekly progress updates on all documentation.
·Attend team, design and client meetings.
This role could also be referred to as: Design Manager, Assistant Design Manager, Project Manager, Contracts Manager or Project Co-ordinator
