A principle contractor leading the way with innovative solutions to structurally complex projects, are seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor for some truly exciting projects.

They have secured well over £150m worth of work including the award of high profile refurbishment projects within the super prime residential, listed hotels, and heritage arts sectors such as:

• Knightsbridge, refurbishment of a £22m grade 2 listed, 6 apartments
• Mayfair - refurbishment of an art gallery with super prime apartments above - £50m
• Mayfair, refurbishment exclusive private members club, spa, swimming pool, - £50m £40m
• Hyde Park Hotel, conversion into luxury property and apartments, £40m

As the Quantity Surveyor you will assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor to ensure the financial success of one of these projects.

This high-level opportunity will suit a Quantity Surveyor looking for a new and exciting challenge.

The Key Attributes:
• Strong and stable employment history with a Tier 1 or 2 principle contractor
• Able to demonstrate successful financial delivery on refurbishment projects over £20m
• Candidates who have experience on super prime or hotel refurbishments will be highly considered.
• Proven experience of taking projects from start to completion.
• Committed, driven with high energy levels.
• Minimum 5 years post graduate experience.
• Willing to commute daily into Central London.

Senior Quantity Surveyor l Joinery Sub-contractor l London

This Senior Quantity Surveyor role is with a large specialist sub-constructor specialising in carpentry and joinery packages for major Tier 1 contracting projects. Your contract as Senior Quantity Surveyor will start immediately and you will take financial control of a £7m joinery package for a major project in Liverpool street, London for a period of 8 months.

For this highly successful sub-contractor you will be working on major carpentry and joinery packages from £1m to £20m in value for the leading tier 1 main contractors.

For this Senior Quantity Surveyor role, you must have worked for a joinery sub-contractor on major tier 1 contracting projects. An example of the scale of projects this leading company is working on is a £120m+ office building in Liverpool Street and a £170m new build residential tower in Vauxhall.

If you have a greater depth of knowledge and experience of Quantity Surveying on large joinery packages this role would be great career progression to one of the best companies in the field. A UK Quantity Surveyor qualification is essential and you will be eligible to live and work in the UK without sponsorship.
