Role Essentials:
• A full UK driving licence is essential for home visitations.
• Assess and manage a range of conditions, offering both drug- and non-drug-based treatments.
• Prescribe medication within the scope of practice, ensuring therapeutic effectiveness.
• Support patient adherence to treatments, providing advice on medication regimens and side effects.
• Prioritise and intervene in complex, urgent, or emergency situations.
• Promote health strategies and self-care principles.
• Address mental health needs in line with national frameworks.
• Participate in vaccination and immunisation programmes.

Experience:
• Minimum two years post-qualification experience.
• Recent experience in primary and community nursing.
• Proven ability in nurse-led management of minor illnesses and triage.
• Experience in clinical leadership and audit.

Qualifications:
• NMC registered first level nurse with MSc or equivalent.
• Relevant nursing/health degree.
• Mentor/teaching qualification and clinical supervision training.

Knowledge:
• Proficient in advanced clinical practice and management of long-term conditions.
• Understanding of local and national health policy and clinical governance in primary care.

Skills:
• Exceptional clinical leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in negotiation, conflict management, and change management.
• Experience in teaching and mentorship within a clinical setting.

Desirable attributes include experience in project management, primary care, and clinical research, as well as additional qualifications in community nursing specialisation and independent prescribing.

Based in an affluent area - they have achieved high rates of flu and covid vaccinations. You will be working within 3 practices of the PCN.
They are a large, friendly and supportive team and are seeking their forth paramedic to join the PCN!

Main Duties:
·Telephone triage
·Seeing patients in the surgery
·Home visits for housebound patients

Essential qualifications:
·HCPC registration
·Able to operate at an advanced level of clinical practice
·Pre-reg MSc in a training programme approved by the College of Paramedics
